Medical group questions pharmacist vaccination move

Western Australia’s decision to allow state-wide influenza vaccinations by community pharmacists has GP leaders up in arms.

The WA government announced in late December that it had amended the states’ poisons legislation to allow pharmacists to administer influenza vaccine without a prescription.
