Medical Observer takes home industry awards

At an industry gala awards night in Sydney last week celebrating print and digital magazine publishing, MO’s highly popular Smartest GP online game was awarded the Digital Marketing Strategy of the Year prize.

The Smartest GP game was launched in February this year, with its success and popularity mirrored by the equally popular Genius Edition.

The highly contested game allowed players to test their knowledge in a range of fields, including entertainment, food and wine, and sport.

Also recognised this year was MO’s graphic design team of art director Gemma Pillars and senior graphic designer Melissa Hartley, jointly named runners-up in the B2B Magazine Designer of the Year category for the second year running. Their outstanding creative work was further acknowledged by judges with MO’s annual Arts Issue cover named as a finalist in the B2B Cover of the Year category.
