Skincare products not so natural

'Natural' skincare products can cause food allergen sensitisation and severe anaphylactic reactions when applied to broken skin, allergists warn.

Researchers from Monash University have reported two cases where patients with eczema used goat's milk skin products and later had severe anaphylaxis requiring adrenaline after eating goat's cheese, despite having previously eaten it with no reaction.
