Meningitis B vax seeks Oz approval

A meningitis B vaccine has been submitted for approval in Australia, following a green light from European regulators.

The European Medicines Agency this month granted marketing authorisation for Bexsero — the first vaccine to be approved for meningitis B.
Novartis Australia, which manufactures Bexsero, said an application was now under review by the Therapeutic Goods Administration.
