MOST Australians want to see the kilojoule content of fast food listed on menu boards, saying it would influence their eating choices.
An online poll of almost 2900 Australian adults also found super-sized support for hitting junk food advertisers with a levy that would pay for an ongoing healthy eating campaign.
Australians were less supportive of banning junk food ads from TV altogether, or ending alcohol industry sponsorship of sports events, though more people were generally in favour than not.
