More sunburn occurs at home than the beach: study

More Australians are sunburned doing day-to-day activities around than home than when they are at the beach or pool, new research shows.

About half of sunburns occur while people are gardening, doing outdoor chores, reading in the backyard or having a barbeque, according to results from the 2013-14 National Sun Protection Survey.
