The randomised clinical trial including almost 800 pregnant women who had previously had at least one miscarriage, supports previous work that so-called morning sickness is more than just a sign of pregnancy.
Writing in JAMA, the researchers report 188 of these pregnancies ended in loss. Of these, 55 (6.9% overall) were peri-implantation losses and 133 (16.7% overall) were clinically recognised
