Narcissistic GP struck off

A Sydney GP found to be incompetent because of a narcissistic personality disorder has been struck off for at least seven years.

The NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal found Dr Michael Quach, who practised in Sydney and the ACT, suffered from an impairment that detracted from his ability to practise medicine.

“It is difficult to know how much of the demonstrated incompetence in the practice of medicine by the respondent, and how much of his inappropriate behaviour, is inextricably bound up with his narcissistic personality,” NCAT said in handing down
