Natural antioxidant boosts fertility

Five brazil nuts a day are enough to promote the development of healthy ovarian follicles, according to an Australian study.

The antioxidant selenium in nuts, leafy green vegetables, red meat and seafood is a boon for female fertility, say the researchers from the University of Adelaide.

While it’s long been known that selenium is important for male fertility, the Adelaide study is the first to find it’s potential for reproduction in women.
