NDIS will ignore thousands with mental illness

The Obsessive Hope Disorder report was co-authored by adjunct Associate Professor John Mendoza, who quit as the first chair of the National Advisory Council on Mental Health in 2010 due to concerns that mental health was being overlooked.

The report said little, if anything, would be left “for the hundreds of thousands of others with severe mental illness… or the 20,000 to 30,000 cases each year of first onset psychosis”.
