Negligence claims against GPs fall

Claims of negligence against GPs appear to have fallen from one-third of all complaints against doctors to one-quarter in just five years.

New figures released by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare on Friday also appear to show that in absolute terms, fewer GPs are now being accused of negligence or breaching their duty of care.
