No jab, no play on the way in Queensland

Unvaccinated children in Queensland may be excluded from childcare facilities under legislative changes flagged by the state's health minister.

Health Minister Cameron Dick said he was seeking to emulate the model in NSW.

"It's really about empowering the community," Mr Dick told ABC Radio on Thursday.

"It's about providing protection, not just to children, but to staff and to parents and the broader community as well."
