NSW doc to return to work after chemo saga

A NSW haematologist accused of giving inappropriate doses of chemotherapy drugs to his patients for as long as 13 years will be allowed to practice oncology upon his return to work.

The Health Department on Thursday said it had wrapped up an investigation into Dr Kiran Phadke, who was based at St George and Sutherland Hospitals, and it was agreed he would not practice haematology when he returns.
