NSW pharmacy gutted by fire

A fire has gutted a pharmacy at the Werrington County centre in Sydney’s west.

Emergency services arrived at the centre on Dunheved Road about 4.20am on Thursday to find the store well-alight.

Fire-fighters contained the fire to the pharmacy, but some adjoining businesses suffered smoke damage. Police are now examining the scene to determine the cause of the fire.

The pharmacy is owned by Mohammed Hanif Adam, who also owns a Terry White chemist in Jordan Springs and another pharmacy in St Marys. He could not be reached for comment at the time of
