Nurse clinics oppose pharmacy vaccinations

A nurse practitioner provider has joined doctors in voicing opposition to a Queensland trial of retail  pharmacists providing flu vaccinations.

The Revive group, which operates a chain of nurse practitioner-led clinics, took out an ad in Queensland’s Sunday Mail warning consumers that pharmacists were not legally approved to vaccinate and did not have the required training.
