Obesity giving rise to pregnancy hypertension

In a systematic review and meta-analysis of 55 studies involving pregnant women with chronic hypertension, researchers from the King’s College London concluded that the relative risk of all adverse neonatal outcomes, including prematurity and stillbirth, were twice as likely in women with chronic prehypertension.
