Older Aussies not tracking medication

The results of the survey, conducted by UMR Research this year on behalf of the National Prescribing Service (NPS), indicated that while 55% of Australians aged 65 and older keep a list of their medicines, 30% do not keep a record of any kind. Of those who do keep a list, less than half (48%) took it with them each time they visited a health professional.

Of those surveyed, 58% were taking at least three prescription medicines a day, half were taking at least one over-the-counter medicine a day and two in three were taking
