Older women targeted for sex education
Sex education is not just for schoolchildren — women over 40 are now also being targeted for safe sex education.
Family Planning NSW has announced it would develop a new safe-sex video aimed at this group, amid concern about increasing rates of STIs.
Dr Deborah Bateson, medical director of Family Planning NSW, said “times have changed”, with increasing expectations for people to continue having an active sex life into middle age.
She said the video would focus on reminding women condoms were the best protection against STIs
