One in two children given complementary therapies
26th November 2015
Doctors have been "astounded" to find that almost half of Australian children have received complementary and alternative therapies.

The findings come from a survey of more than 800 parents and carers of paediatric patients aged 0-17 presenting to three EDs in Melbourne. It found 49% of the children had received at least one CAM therapy in the previous 12 months.
