Osteoporosis patients live longer than expected

People diagnosed with osteoporosis may be living longer than previously expected, say Danish researchers.

Their analysis of registry data from almost 60,000 patients shows an average life expectancy after a diagnosis of osteoporosis at over 15 years for women under 75, as well as for men under 60.
