Outbreak prompts free measles vax
The clinic is offering free vaccinations in Ipswich after a 10th case was confirmed in the satellite city. Twenty people in Qld had contracted the disease as of last week.
Some had travelled to train stations, courthouses, police stations and pharmacies without knowing they were infected.
“A few people were quite social when they were infectious and that is why we have seen so many cases in Ipswich,” a West Moreton Hospital and Health Service spokeswoman said.
