Overdose death: GP guilty of misconduct

The Medical Tribunal of NSW also found Dr Annette Do guilty of unsatisfactory professional conduct, saying she had breached ethical boundaries before the man’s death in June 2008.

The tribunal said Dr Do had formed a relationship with the man two years earlier when she was working in two practices in Western Sydney. The man moved into her home in August 2006 and between then and March 2008 she prescribed him various medications – including restricted substances – 393 times.
