PA wins right to claim damages for harassment

A pharmacy assistant who claimed that years of bullying from her workplace supervisor led to mental and behavioural disturbances has been granted permission to seek damages from her former employer.

At a hearing in the County Court of Victoria, Judge Smith ruled he was “satisfied that Ms Donohue has suffered ‘serious injury’ as that term is defined in the [Accident Compensation] Act [1985]”.
