Patient accuses GP of using her for sex
A woman who was being treated for depression by her GP told a tribunal that she “felt like a sex object” after he took her to a park and had sex with her.
The 31 year-old patient said she was initially flattered by Dr Muhammad Azam’s flirting and attempts to kiss her during previous consultations but that she felt humiliated after the park encounter.
The Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal also heard that Dr Azam gave the woman money after the alleged incident, the Courier Mail reports.
