PBS inertia on triple therapy a ‘disgrace’: endocrinologist

A leading endocrinologist has urged his colleagues to step up efforts for triple therapy to be subsidised by the PBS.

Associate Professor Neale Cohen from the Baker IDI Heart and Diabetes Institute says this type of therapy is vital for patients who don’t respond to first-line or second-line treatments and prefer not to receive injected insulin.
