‘Phantom’ employees land UK pharmacists in hot water

Two British pharmacists have been struck off the register for inventing false employees to conceal the lack of adequate staffing at their ‘100-hour’ pharmacy.

A piece published in Chemist + Druggist said that during a nine-day fitness-to-practise hearing, the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) heard evidence against pharmacists Mohammed Anwar Miah and Hazrat Ali.
