Pharmacist struck off for impersonation stunt

A UK pharmacist with 53 years of experience has been struck off the professional register for posing as a pharmacy inspector in Altrincham, Cheshire.

As reported in C+D, pharmacist Denis Mallalieu entered Hale Barns Pharmacy one evening in April 2011, and upon discovering that no responsible pharmacist was present, proceeded to conduct a bogus inspection of the pharmacy.
