Pharmacists peddling ‘fairy dust’ instead of medicine: columnist

Community pharmacies are pushing the sale of complementary medicines that are not clinically proven or compliant with regulatory requirements, a national columnist claims.

In her opinion piece published in The Australian, columnist Cassandra Wilkinson says that pharmacists have turned to selling lucrative complementary or alternative medicines, thereby undermining their “trusted medical relationship” with the public.
