Pharmacists stand their ground on flu vax timing furore
Guild says the official immunisation start date is April

The Pharmacy Guild has hit back at claims that pharmacists are putting patients at risk by offering flu vaccinations too early.
It’s appropriate for pharmacists to be promoting flu vaccinations now inline with the imminent National Immunisation Program, a Guild spokesperson told Pharmacy News.
“If it’s good enough for the immunisation program to start in April, it’s good enough for pharmacists to beat the drum about vaccination right now.”
