Pharmacy assistants worst-paid workers in Australia: report

Pharmacy assistants have been highlighted as possibly the lowest-paid employees in Australia, according to a new report.

The document, produced by wealth management company AMP and the National Centre for Social and Economic Modelling (NATSEM) at the University of Canberra, found that among all occupations, pharmacy sales assistants earned the lowest full-time minimum wage of any workers within service industries, with 82.2% taking home less than $800 a week.
