Poo app designed to preserve dignity

A Japanese university student who “pooped his pants” in public has developed an early warning system to prevent it from ever happening again.

The wearable device known as D Free is designed by Atsushi Nakanishi.

It uses ultrasonic waves to track the movement in the bowel and sends the user a text message when when evacuation is imminent.

Shaped like a cake of soap, the device is made from plastic and can either be stuck to the skin on the lower abdomen or worn in a pocket on custom-designed
