The power of swearing

Swearing out loud has long been known to help with acute pain, but now a team of international scientists say a liberal use of profanities is also good for strength building and anaerobic power.

The US and UK researchers found that people who swore while they rode an exercise bike for a short, intense period produced more power and had a stronger handgrip than those who did not.
