Practice ownership ‘terrifies’ young GPs

Younger GPs are being urged to embrace practice ownership to protect the specialty’s future as principal numbers slump to an all-time low.

Last year, it emerged that just one in four GPs were principals or partners, with most GPs working as associates, contractors or employees.
