Primary boss resigns after false accounting accusations
The boss of one of Australia’s largest GP corporates has resigned days after Australia’s business watchdog accused him of false accounting.
Primary Health Care announced on Friday that managing director and CEO Peter Gregg would step down as soon as they could identify a replacement.
Earlier last week, it emerged that the Australian Securities and Investment Commission served Mr Gregg with a local court attendance notice, accusing him of two contraventions of the Corporations Act.
The notice related to allegations of false accounting from Mr Gregg’s time as chief financial officer
