Primary hopes new $6.5m clinic is good PR

Primary Health Care is hoping its opening of a new $6.5 million medical centre on the NSW North Coast this week will help combat perceptions among some doctors that it is tight-fisted.

The company held an opening ceremony for staff at the new facility on Thursday night, attended by local dignitaries and the company’s board.
The facility - which includes a skin cancer clinic, physiotherapy clinic, radiology clinic and on-site pathology - is the only new medical centre Primary will open this financial year.
