Probiotics not the answer to infant colic

Probiotics are no cure for a colicky infant, a large study by a leading Australian paediatrician concludes. 

Writing in this week’s BMJ Dr Valerie Sung from the Royal Children’s Hospital in Victoria and colleagues noted infant colic affected up to 20% of infants and despite decades of research its cause remained elusive.
