A new program developed by researchers at UTS may help overcome barriers to the successful implementation of the diabetes MedsCheck program in many pharmacies.
The UTS-Roche Diabetes MedsCheck Implementation Program provides pharmacies with training and on-site facilitation to support them in delivering the service.
Through the 5CPA-funded MedsCheck initiative, people can obtain an in-pharmacy review of medications with a focus on type 2 diabetes medicines management, monitoring devices, education and self-management.
