Prostate cancer treatments: comparing the side effects
New research findings may help doctors and patients make more informed decisions about the management of prostate cancer.
Published in JAMA, the two cohort studies compare the side effects of localised treatments including radical prostatectomy, external beam radiation therapy, brachytherapy, hormone therapy and active surveillance.
