Psychiatrist slams pharmacists over public ‘interrogations’

A Melbourne psychiatrist has called on community pharmacists to provide an area for confidential discussions with patients, to avoid public discussions with mental health patients.

Dr John Buchanan says many of his patients have been upset about being “interrogated” in a public area over private and personal matters which have nothing to do with the pharmacist.
