Suicidal thought doesn’t need to be fatal to be serious, says an Australian psychologist who has spent five years developing a new mental health test.

Queensland researcher Dr Keith Harris believes his Suicidal Affect-Behaviour-Cognition Scale (SABCS) is a more accurate predictor of suicidality than other methods, and has the potential to save lives.
