Push for specialist fees database
Giving GPs access to a database of specialist fees is being pushed as a way to help patients avoid hefty out-of-pocket costs.
Political heat over specialist fees has been increasing as the Federal Government introduces new legislation designed to save $270 million by rolling back the Medicare Safety Net.
