RACGP asks members: ‘Are we doing a good job?’

The census is a 'slightly deeper dive' into what members are thinking, college president Dr Karen Price says

The RACGP has asked members whether the $1500 it charges in annual fees represents value for money and is promising major reforms if the answer is ‘no’.

The college launched what it is calling a national census last Thursday, featuring an anonymous 20-minute questionnaire on its services and performance.

President Dr Karen Price said while surveys had been conducted in the past, the census was a “slightly deeper dive” into who members were and what they were thinking.

“One of the things that I said when campaigning to become president is we need to make sure the RACGP leadership and board are on point for mission and values,” she said.
