RACGP expands compulsory CPD
Doctors will be forced to do quality improvement activities — such as clinical audits — as part of the new CPD program next year.
With the new triennium starting in January, the RACGP rolled out its new requirements this week.
The college said quality improvement would be "nothing new" for many GPs.
It said the types of activities that would meet the requirements included clinical audits, research, small group learning, supervised clinical attachment and taking part in an evidence-based medicine journal club.
