RACP CEO resigns amid unrest

The CEO of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians has resigned following a tumultuous five years in charge.

Dr Jennifer Alexander (pictured) is understood to have been a key figure in the rows that have engulfed the college in recent months, culminating in the college spending $150,000 taking its own members to the Federal Court.

No explanation has so far been given for her resignation. A request for an interview was turned down.

Dr Alexander finishes on 30 May and will be replaced on a
