Random criminal checks proposed for IMGs
Overseas doctors working in Australia could face random audits of their international criminal history under changes being considered by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
The watchdog is looking at whether criminal history checks on overseas doctors applying to work in Australia need to be strengthened.
