Rational suicide: Nitschke's failure?
The suicide of a 45-year-old Perth man has provoked fierce debate about a doctor's duty when dealing with patients wishing to end their lives.
Nigel Brayley came into contact with euthanasia campaigner Dr Philip Nitschke at the beginning of the year.
The Perth man, who reportedly had a high-paying job in the oil and gas industry, wanted to attend one of Dr Nitschke's workshops on how to obtain and use suicide drugs.
But Mr Brayley wasn't the typical applicant. He didn't have a terminal illness and was
