Overwork, isolation and not having a GP are just three of 18 key factors that must be addressed to improve doctors’ poor emotional health and mental illness, according to a new report released by the AMA.

The Final Report of the National Forum on Reducing Risk of Suicide in the Medical Profession highlights the issues raised by 82 doctors at a forum held in September 2017 by the AMA in conjunction with Doctors’ Health Services.
