Report sex with patients, not inebriation

These are just some of the tips in AHPRA’s new draft guidelines on mandatory reporting, its most comprehensive explanation of what medical practitioners are and are not required by law to report about their colleagues.

The document, up for public consultation until 30 May, makes no changes to the rules but attempts to address one of the most common concerns about them: that practitioners don’t know the threshold over which to make a mandatory report.
