Researchers explain significance of F. necrophorum in pharyngitis

US  researchers have published a paper explaining the significance of Fusobacterium necrophorum (F. necrophorum) as a cause of pharyngitis in people aged 15 to 30.

Their study published in the Annals of Internal Medicine shows F. necrophorum–positive pharyngitis clinically resembles streptococcal pharyngitis but occurs more frequently.
