Revalidation not needed, say half of doctors

Nearly half of doctors say subjecting the profession to regular “fitness to practise” assessments is not needed, according to an Australian Doctor poll.

Last month Dr Grant Phelps from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians said a system of revalidation was needed to “capture the bad doctors”.
